The members of the Walk-Bike Council of Addison County are all active in the community, and we often participate in local walking and cycling events. This page displays a listing of upcoming events in our community, and we hope you will join us and support these causes.
Every two years here in Vermont, a local organization (usually involved in creating improvements for the walking and bicycling communities in the state) hosts a Vermont Walk/Bike Summit. And for 2020, the hosting efforts will be shared by the Addison County Regional Planning Commission and the Walk-Bike Council of Addison County. We'd love to have you attend the event, and you can get all the details at the Vermont Walk/Bike Summit website.
The Human Powered Parade is in it's third year of "activating our shared potential for human change!" This community event launches with a professional high flying BMX show and moves through town on human powered wheels. After-parade events include a community-wide party at the skate park with bands, pickleball, cargo bike test rides and bike races for kids. See the details at the Human Powered Parade website.
